Terms of Service

Pilot Translate is a real-time translation tool designed to help businesses communicate with customers across languages. The Service includes staff and customer display sessions, voice transcription and translation, text-to-speech playback, business branding options, usage tracking, and plan-based features described on our website and in your account settings.

The Service is provided on a subscription license basis for your business's internal use at your physical location(s).

Your account and access credentials are issued for use by your business only. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you may not:

• Resell, sublicense, or distribute the Service to other businesses
• Share your account credentials with unaffiliated third parties
• Use the Service to build a competing product

We retain all ownership rights in the underlying software, code, design, and technology that power the Service. Your license grants you the right to use the Service — it does not transfer ownership of any part of it.

The Service is offered in subscription tiers (such as Starter, Business, and Enterprise) with different features, usage limits, and pricing as published on our website. Plan features may include, among other things, monthly translation message limits, device limits, voice selection, custom branding, custom translation keywords, usage dashboards, conversation history options, and data export capabilities.

Your access to features depends on your active subscription plan. We may measure usage (such as translation messages processed per billing period) to enforce plan limits. If you exceed your plan limits, we may restrict further translations, offer paid top-ups where available, or require an upgrade to continue using the Service at higher volumes.

Enterprise plans may be subject to separate written agreements. Contact us for Enterprise pricing and terms.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your staff and any individuals using the Service on your behalf comply with these Terms.

You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consent from customers or staff before recording or processing their voice in connection with the Service, and for displaying appropriate notices where required by law.

You represent that custom keywords, branding, and other content you upload do not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable law.

The Service relies on third-party providers, including a third-party AI processing provider for translation and speech recognition, a database and authentication provider for data storage, and a hosting provider for the application. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or limitations originating from these third-party providers, though we will make reasonable efforts to maintain service reliability.

Paid plans are billed on a recurring subscription basis at the prices published on our website or agreed in writing. By subscribing, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge applicable fees on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Continued use of paid features is contingent on timely payment. We reserve the right to suspend or downgrade access for non-payment, failed charges, or expired subscriptions. Refund policies, if any, will be stated at the time of purchase or in a separate agreement.

You may change your subscription plan, update your payment method, or cancel at any time through your account billing settings, which are handled via our payment processor's self-service billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout.

We may offer one-time message top-ups or other add-ons from time to time. Prices and availability are subject to change with reasonable notice to active subscribers.

Translation accuracy depends on third-party AI models and may not be perfect, particularly with background noise, accents, or specialized vocabulary. Custom keywords and other settings may improve consistency for terms you define, but they do not guarantee correct translation in every context.

The Service should not be relied upon for translations involving legal, medical, or safety-critical communications without independent verification.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BusinessPilot Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to miscommunication resulting from translation errors.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, exceed applicable plan limits in a manner that warrants restriction, or fail to pay applicable fees. You may discontinue use of the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends, though provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

We may update these Terms, modify plan features or pricing, or change the Service from time to time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active account holders of material changes before they take effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
